BEST PERSONNEL
Anna Kaminska is a fully qualified and insured practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). Her path into acupuncture began through her dedicated practice of Tai Chi, where she became fascinated by acupuncture points and their martial applications. This interest led her to complete three years of professional training in TCM at OICCT College, followed by a year of supervised practice at the Northampton TCM Clinic, where she gained valuable experience in patient care and individualised treatment planning within a busy clinical environment.
In her private practice, Anna remains committed to maintaining high professional and ethical standards. She has continued her professional development through further study with the Phoenix Academy and White Crane Academy. Her recent acceptance to the NCA reflects her dedication to ongoing learning and professional growth.

WHAT IS ACUPUNCTURE?
Acupuncture is the ancient Chinese art of healing. Has become very popular as in many diseases, which are resistant to conventional forms of therapy, acupuncture has proved remarkably effective.
HOW DOES ACUPUNCTURE WORK?
NEEDLING CAN BRING SIX DIFFERENT EFFECTS
ANALGESIC
Acupuncture is often used to support the body’s natural pain-relief processes. It is understood to work at different levels within the body and may help encourage the body’s own regulatory responses involved in comfort and recovery.
SEDATION
Some people experience deep relaxation during treatment and may fall asleep. Research suggests acupuncture may influence the body’s natural relaxation processes, which can contribute to a sense of calm
HOMEOSTATIC
The body has many built-in systems that help keep things steady, such as those involved in breathing, heart rate, temperature regulation, hormone activity, and fluid balance. Acupuncture is understood to support the body’s own regulatory processes, contributing to an overall sense of stability
IMMUNE ENHANCEMENT
Acupuncture is traditionally used to help strengthen and support the body’s natural defences by encouraging internal balance. Rather than targeting illness directly, it works to support the body’s own resilience and ability to regulate itself. Acupuncture and herbal medicine are often used together to help maintain optimal physiological balance, especially during the winter months when extra support may be helpful.
ANTI-INFLAMMATORY
Used within traditional practice to support healthy functioning of multiple body systems, including the immune, digestive, respiratory, nervous, musculoskeletal, circulatory, endocrine, and genitourinary systems. Research suggests that acupuncture may influence local physiological responses and support normal immune activity by interacting with the body’s natural regulatory processes.
MOTOR RECOVERY
A personalized combination of acupuncture, Tecar therapy, and herbal medicine is used as a complementary approach to help support the body’s natural regulatory mechanisms through targeted therapeutic stimulation
