Many of my patients run out of all other options before coming to me, only to all end up asking themselves the same question: “Why did I not start with acupuncture?”
HOW DOES ACUPUNCTURE WORK?
The Human body has a map of energy channels/meridians with hundreds of energy points located on them. Stimulating certain acupuncture points brings certain effects.
For example; pressing or massaging the inner wrist area may help with nausea, and the area between the index finger and thumb is often stimulated for headaches or facial pain.
